 Welcome To Topcoat Finishes Minimize

Vermont homes see a harsh variety of exposures throughout the year, so they need to be painted and maintained by professionals who understand proper product selection and application. Here at Topcoat, our field experience over the past 15 years has allowed us to study all aspects of how paint and design relate to the way people live both inside and outside their homes.

Our clientele includes enthusiastic homeowners in Chittenden County, the top building companies in Vermont, and New England's most talented design professionals. The exchange of ideas with our clients and the opportunity to paint and maintain homes over time has led to a constantly evolving range of services that Topcoat can offer. Our commitment is to ensuring the interior and exterior of your home will have the most aesthetically pleasing and durable finishes we can find, thoughtfully applied to manufacturers specifications by respectful and educated professional painters with a profound respect for your property and its unique features.

Topcoat worked with designer Stephen Saint-Onge on this monthly makeover featured in the July 2008 issue of Better Homes and Gardens magazine.
We encourage you to peruse our website and send along any comments or questions you may have right here at info@topcoatfinishes.com. We are really good at what we do and we would love to include you in the exchange of ideas that we value. On the pages of this site, you will find a sampling of residential repaint jobs, custom new homes  nestled in the mountains or proudly flanking Lake Champlain, faux finishes, venetian plaster, our paint shop and our newest offering launched this year from client feedback: The Ounce of Protection Plan, a comprehensive annual paint maintenance plan designed for our clients who want their custom designed and built homes to look and perform at the highest possible level at all times. An ounce of protection is worth a pound of cure. Thanks for visiting!

Better Homes and Gardens From time to time, Topcoat works with designer Stephen Saint-Onge on his monthly makeover series for Better Homes and Gardens magazine. Here is the July '08 issue, in which we collaborated on a living room makeover with Stephen. We used Benjamin Moore Aura paint on the project and the results were fantastic. We currently have several projects in the works with Stephen Saint-Onge that will be appearing in upcoming issues of the magazine, so keep an eye on BHG for future makeovers. Each time we work with Stephen, we learn a bit more about the impact of paint and interior design. (Click on the magazine cover for a pop-up version of the article.)

 Professionals Say: Minimize

Topcoat recently worked on a makeover for Better Homes & Gardens magazine and Stephen Saint-Onge's design column, House Calls With Stephen Saint-Onge. Here is what Stephen had to say about working with Topcoat:

Stephen Saint-Onge

"Being from Vermont originally, I was excited to make this makeover happen in my old home state. It was a wonderful experience working with Topcoat Finishes and seeing a company that strives to maintain integrity in the work they do. I was very impressed with their professional approach and attention to detail. Not only did it show up in how they did the work, but in the lasting effect of what they brought to life through the magic of paint. In my work as a designer, one of the most gratifying components of any makeover is the power of paint to transform a room instantly. You can bring style to any space and change the mood simply by introducing paint. Paint alone is an instant room makeover."
