Decorative finishes are a relatively simple way to give any room a fresh custom look. Some of the more common methods used are sponging, ragging, stippling and glazing. These finishes are achieved by artfully applying multiple colors over a base coat to create the desired depth and sense of motion. These techniques are appropriate for entire rooms or simple accent walls, and they can be as subtle or dramatic as you prefer.
